“Very much in the aromatic style of the 2009, with refined aromas of ripe fruit, fresh raspberry, and sweet flowers, a supple texture, fine tannins, and lovely freshness. Pure elegance. ” (The Bettane & Desseauve Guide to French Wines 2014). A round, supple, well-integrated, and silky wine... Great appeal! • Delivered in the original wooden case for orders of 12 bottles shipped within France •

Rated estate (2014 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About the estate:

“Bouscaut now captivates us with the authenticity of its wines. Significant progress has been made by Sophie and Laurent Cogombles, who have poured their hearts, time, and energy into revitalizing the viticulture and winemaking practices of this Graves cru classé. The uniqueness of this terroir is perfectly evident in the latest vintages: the white wines, previously made from an equal blend of grape varieties, have seen an increase in Sauvignon Blanc from 50% to 60% in the blend since 2011 (53% in 2012). They possess charm and depth, while the reds, dominated by Merlot and a touch of Malbec in certain vintages, have gained significantly in body and texture.”
