About the wine:
A lovely, rich, and exuberant nose, offering particularly ripe and expressive fruit, along with vanilla and mineral notes; on the palate, it is generous, full-bodied, and deep, with plenty of body and flavor, lingering aromas, and liveliness. A rich and appealing style.
About the estate:
This estate, which owes its name to a Scottish merchant, was successfully taken over by the Mau family in 2005, in partnership with the Dutch firm Dirkzwager. Jean-Christophe Mau, a true enthusiast, devotes a great deal of energy to the estate, advised by Stéphane Derenoncourt for the reds and Philippe Dulong for the whites. The wines are well-crafted, fruit-forward, harmonious, and balanced. The whites are impeccable, precise, and pure. The reds, of very high quality, possess a distinct Léognan character. The estate ranks among the top producers in the appellation.

About the wine:
The 2014 Château Brown white features a very well-defined bouquet of lime syrup and gooseberry, with notes of peach emerging as it breathes. On the palate, it is crisp and fresh, with the lime syrup note lingering alongside lovely acidity and a lively finish.

This estate, purchased in 2005 by the Mau and Dirkzwager families, is now managed by Jean-Christophe Mau. He has undertaken a thorough revitalization of this terroir, which neighbors the classified growth Château Olivier. The most recent vintages have reached an excellent level, showcasing a classic yet full-bodied style that consistently emphasizes the fine finesse of the tannins and the freshness of the fruit.

About the wine:
Lovely aromas of tangy lemon cream, with just a hint of grapefruit, cedar, and vanilla. Light and subtly tannic on the palate, with a slightly chalky texture. Fresh and full of citrus; the oak is beautifully integrated, and the acidity is well-balanced. Impressive length.
