Figeac Castle
Château Figeac is a very old estate in Saint-Emilion. Its 40 hectares of vines produce a renowned AOC Saint-Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classé. Its unique grape varieties—grown on gravelly soil—70% Cabernet (half Cabernet Franc, half Cabernet Sauvignon) and only 30% Merlot, have led Château Figeac to be described as "the most Médoc-like of the Saint-Emilion wines."

A large part of the Château Figeac vineyard extends over soils composed mainly of ancient sand of eolian origin, which are extraordinarily well-drained, allowing for high-quality viticulture. The main vat room at Château Figeac consists partly of 10 oak vats. Each vintage is placed in 100% new barrels for aging, which lasts between 18 and 20 months.
