Château Figeac
Château Figeac is a very old estate in Saint-Emilion. Its 40 hectares of vineyards produce a renowned AOC Saint-Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classé. Its unique blend—grown on gravelly soils—consists of 70% Cabernet (half Cabernet Franc, half Cabernet Sauvignon) and only 30% Merlot, leading some to describe Château Figeac as “the most Médoc-like of the Saint-Emilions.”

A large portion of Château Figeac’s vineyard extends over soils composed primarily of ancient, wind-blown sands, which are extraordinarily well-draining and facilitate high-quality viticulture. Château Figeac ’s main aging cellar consists partly of 10 oak vats. Each vintage is aged in 100% new oak barrels for a period ranging from 18 to 20 months.
