Château Grand Corbin-Despagne
Château Grand Corbin-Despagne was built in the 19th century on the border between Saint-Émilion and Pomerol, on sandy-clay-siliceous soil. It wasn’t until a century later that the estate gained recognition thanks to the quality and consistency of the wines produced there.
Château Grand Corbin-Despagne quickly established itself as a pioneer in biodiversity; in fact, in 1993, it obtained HVE3 certification (sustainable agriculture), twenty years later its wines were 100% organic, and since 2018 the vineyard has been operated biodynamically. The wines produced at Château Grand Corbin-Despagne are intense and complex, with aromas of red fruit, flowers, and spices.
