Château Jean Faure

Château Jean Faure, in Saint-Émilion near Bordeaux, is owned by a true wine and vineyard enthusiast: Olivier Decelle. In 1999, he took the reins of the remarkable Mas Amiel estate (Roussillon), transforming it into an unquestionable success with a global reputation. A passion that led him a few years later to the Bordeaux region to take over three estates with a prestigious history: Château Jean Faure, Château Haut-Maurac, and Château Haut-Ballet, located among the finest terroirs on the right and left banks of Bordeaux. Château Jean Faure is thus a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellation wine.

A thorough reorganization, unwavering rigor in the cellars and vineyards, and the talent of their new owner—supported by a team of passionate individuals—have restored these estates, and Château Jean Faure in particular, to their former glory. The entire vineyard is managed using sustainable agriculture practices. Leaf removal, debudding, green harvesting, and soil cultivation between the vine rows are carried out to ensure optimal yields and a grape quality worthy of these prodigious Bordeaux terroirs.
