Château Calon-Ségur
Château Calon-Ségur is a 94-hectare wine estate located in Saint-Estèphe , near Bordeaux. It is classified as a third growth in the 1855 Bordeaux wine classification, in the Saint-Estèphe appellation.

With a rich history dating back centuries, Château Calon-Ségur is now run by the heirs of Denise Capbern-Gasqueton, who brilliantly succeeded her husband Philippe in 1995 until her recent passing in 2011. The vineyard is located on gravelly, hilly terrain. Château Calon-Ségur's grape varieties consist of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 15% Cabernet Franc, with vines averaging 40 years of age.

Château Calon-Ségur wine is aged in a very traditional manner for an average of 24 months in oak barrels, some of which are new. Château Calon-Ségur is generally considered one of the most powerful and full-bodied Saint-Estèphe wines in the Bordeaux appellation.
