Full-bodied and fresh. Silky tannins, with richness and a well-rounded character. A very generous, flavorful wine, in the same vein as the previous one. A lovely, lingering finish.

About the estate:
The elm trees are gone, but the hamlet of Pez is still home to this lovely estate, which was acquired by Jean-Michel Cazes. The winemaking process is overseen by the team at Château Lynch-Bages, adding a touch of soul and, above all, a great deal of elegance to the wine. Thanks to a more meticulous and precise winemaking process than in the past, the wines have gained in refinement.

It is generally best enjoyed relatively soon after bottling and has demonstrated consistent quality for over a decade, thanks to the work of a well-coordinated team. A great value.
