“Having already been tasted en primeur and then after aging, this wine still offers lovely freshness but is beginning to develop body and depth. It remains floral, of course, but is also flavorful with ripe fruit. It still needs some time to fully develop its finish.” (Les Meilleurs Vins de France 2011 – Gault Millau) - Delivered in a wooden case at no extra charge for orders of 6 bottles shipped within France

Rated estate (2022 guide): 3*Stars (High-quality production that serves as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

The elm trees are gone, but the hamlet of Pez is still home to this lovely estate, which was acquired by Jean-Michel Cazes. The winemaking process is overseen by the team at Château Lynch-Bages, which adds a touch of soul and, above all, a great deal of elegance to the wine. Thanks to more meticulous and precise winemaking techniques than in the past, the wines have become more refined.

Rated Estate (2022 Guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or high-quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)

About the estate:

This charming estate owes its name to the beautiful elm trees that once graced its garden. Owned by the Cazes family (Lynch-Bages) since the 1930s, Ormes de Pez produces a wine that captivates wine lovers with its full-bodied, rich, and alluring bouquet. It is generally best enjoyed relatively soon after bottling and has demonstrated consistent quality for over a decade, thanks to the work of a well-coordinated team. A great value.
