“Pale yellow color with green highlights. A complex nose blending floral notes, a subtle hint of honey, and a toasted mineral undertone. A full-bodied, velvety attack that gives way to a fresh, lively mid-palate with tangy notes. A lovely, lingering finish with mineral notes.” (Le Guide des Vins 2016 - Gilbert & Gaillard)

Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated (2017 guide) 16/20 (Very good wine)
Rated estate (2019 guide): 2 stars (A solid, recommendable wine, though slightly more consistent and uniform than the previous vintage)
About the wine:
This wine has much more structure than the estate’s other vintage from the same vineyard; the oak is not yet fully integrated at this stage, but the finish is splendid. It will undoubtedly improve further as the oak becomes more subtle.
About the estate:
This estate's Mont-de-Milieu from old vines is perhaps the best value in all of the Chablis region!
Guide Hachette des vins
Rated estate (2019 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)
About the estate:
The first in the line, Julien Philippon, who came from the Morvan region, settled there in 1868 as a lumberjack and gradually built up the family estate. His heir, André, purchased Château de Fleys, a former hunting lodge, in 1988. A beautiful estate that he passed on to his children, Béatrice, Benoît, and Olivier, along with a 25-hectare vineyard located east of Chablis, on the right bank of the Serein.
