Roland Lavantureux, a second-generation winemaker, was the first to bottle the estate’s wines: Domaine Roland Lavantureux was founded in 1979. Today, his two sons, Arnaud and David, have taken up the torch.
Together, they have expanded Domaine Roland Lavantureux: they enlarged the cellar in 2012, took over a family estate (on their mother’s side) in Bourgogne Epineuil and Bourgogne Tonnerre, and acquired new plots in Chablis Premier Cru Vau de Vey.
Domaine Roland Lavantureux produces Chablis wines while respecting the identity of each of its terroirs. As a result, the wine portfolio includes Petit Chablis, three varieties of Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru Fourchaume and Vau de Vay, and Chablis Grand Cru Vaudésir and Bougros.
