15,5/20
Bettane & Desseauve
"Golden yellow in color, this very vinous crémant has aromas of dried fruit. The palate is vinous, full-bodied, and serious. The bubbles are fine, and the finish is salty. A crémant for fine dining or as an aperitif, ideal with savory pairings. " (Le Guide des Vins Bettane & Desseauve 2020) This 100% Pinot Noir Brut Zero will delight your taste buds with its finesse!

About wine:

About the estate:
We have been following this estate for some time now and are delighted with Charly Nicolle's serious approach and steady progress. Working the terroirs of Fleys, including the two premier crus Les Fourneaux and the easternmost part of Mont de Milieu, he produces a small range of wines with great density on the palate, bringing out the distinctive minerality of each cru. This is a sure bet for the sector.

About the estate:
Charly Nicolle's great-grandparents were already growing grapes. Following in the footsteps of previous generations, the young winemaker embarked on his own adventure. Based in Fleys, east of Chablis, he created his own estate in 2011, carefully tending his 17 hectares of Chardonnay vines, and has established himself as a reliable producer in the Chablis region. He also runs the family estate of La Mandelière.
