About the estate:
This estate was spun off from the Igé cooperative winery by Francis Fichet in 1976. His sons, Pierre-Yves and Olivier, who have been at the helm since 1999, now cultivate 35 hectares of vineyards, from which they produce about fifteen different wines made from the four Burgundy grape varieties. A trusted name in the Mâconnais region, the estate expanded in 2006 with the addition of a small wine trading operation.

Very Burgundian on the nose and palate, with noticeable oak that isn't overpowering. I'll place another order when the 2008 is available.
