Château Pouilly
At the heart of thePouilly-Fuissé AOC in Burgundy, Château de Pouilly, built in 1551, has always been the ambassador of this white wine made from Chardonnay grapes.
Perched on Mount Pouilly and surrounded by its vineyards, Château de Pouilly and its 7th generation of owners watch over its terroir, its climates and respect for ancestral traditions.
The harvest from its 7 hectares of vines, partly hand-harvested, is matured in the Château's cellars, partly in oak barrels.
Château de Pouilly, one of the oldest estates in southern Burgundy, dates back to the heyday of the Cluny Abbey.
Surrounded by vineyards, this medieval château has been producing Château Pouilly wine since 1551. Today, it is one of the few estates to produce only POUILLY-FUISSE, the premier AOC of the Mâconnais region.
This long tradition is now perpetuated by the women of the 6th and 7th generations of the family.
