In the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation in Burgundy, the Château de Pouilly , built in 1551, has always been an ambassador for this white wine made from Chardonnay grapes. Perched on Mont Pouilly and surrounded by its vineyards, the Château de Pouilly and its seventh-generation owners carefully preserve its terroir, its unique vineyard sites, and the respect for time-honored traditions. The harvest from its seven hectares of vines, some of which are hand-picked, is aged in the Château's cellars, partly in oak barrels.

Château de Pouilly , one of the oldest estates in southern Burgundy, dates back to the height of the Cluny Abbey's influence. Surrounded by its vineyards, this medieval castle has been producing Château Pouilly wine since 1551. Today, it is one of the few properties to produce only Pouilly-Fuissé, the first AOC of the Mâconnais region. This long tradition is currently being carried on by the women of the 6th and 7th generations of the family.
