“Fresh, with notes of apple and citrus, this is a fragrant, instantly appealing wine. It has lively acidity, a slightly mineral texture, and a crisp finish. It is young and will age well, though it is delicious now. ” (Wine Enthusiast 2016). With time, this delicate and deep white wine develops a rounder, fuller profile with lemony notes that awaken the palate. Enjoy now at

Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated 16/20 (Very good wine)
Rated estate (2021 guide): 3 stars (High-quality production, setting the standard in its sector)
About the wine:
Refined, subtle, with a lovely, delicate depth and a lingering finish of citrus zest.
About the estate:
Francine Picard, Michel’s daughter, is devoting all her considerable energy and idealism to reshaping the style of the wines from the family estate, which spans 140 hectares of vineyards. Since May 2019, she has been supported by Antoine Lepetit, a biodynamic consultant and her new technical director. The estate will be certified organic by the end of 2019, and changes are expected to continue with even more precise winemaking and aging techniques. A substantial range of high-quality red and white wines offers a true glimpse into the different terroirs of the Chassagne and Saint-Aubin regions.
Robert Parker - Wine Advocate
Wine rated (2014 guide) 87-89/100 (Good wine)
Estate rated "Recommended" (Wine producer recommended by Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate)
About the wine:
Fermented in large oak casks and barrels, the 2013 Saint Aubin 1er Cru La Charmois offers a charming floral bouquet that opens up in the glass, revealing subtle notes of candle wax and peony. The palate is well-balanced on the attack with citrus, lemon, and orange zest; it then becomes much more restrained on the finish, leaning toward the Chassagne-Montrachet style. However, this is a significant wine with considerable charm… it just needs a little time in the bottle to open up.
