"A most elegant Saint-Aubin—both clean and full-bodied, balanced by lovely acidity—worthy of a 1er Cru from the Côte de Beaune!"

“On the nose, there are complex aromas of ripe cherry skin, plum, baking spices, white tea, and fresh earth. Round and well-structured, it features silky tannins with notes of rose petals and a mineral finish marked by hints of limestone.” (Wine Enthusiast 2026)

Rated estate (2021 guide): 3*Stars (High-quality production that serves as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

Francine Picard, Michel’s daughter, is devoting all her considerable energy and idealism to reshaping the style of the wines from the family estate, which spans 140 hectares of vineyards. Since May 2019, she has been supported by Antoine Lepetit, a biodynamic consultant and her new technical director. The estate will be certified organic by the end of 2019, and changes are expected to continue, leading to even more precise winemaking and aging practices. A wide range of high-quality red and white wines offers a true glimpse into the different terroirs of the Chassagne and Saint-Aubin regions.
