"A diamond in the rough"

A Brut Nature of great precision, where freshness and minerality shine through brilliantly. Its taut, delicately chalky palate reveals beautiful complexity, enhanced by 48 months of aging on the lees, which lend it finesse and depth. A refined cuvée, ideal as an aperitif or paired with seafood or sushi.

About the estate:

Winegrowers since 1854, based in a small valley near the Marne Valley, the Payers are proud to be among the twenty-four founders of the Coopérative régionale des vins de Champagne in 1962 (see Jacquart, de Castelnau), which still produces two of their cuvées, even though they have since become récoltants-manipulants. In 2019, Ghislain Payer passed on the 4-hectare vineyard to his daughter, Élise.
