With a beautiful, intense ruby color and glowing, brick-red highlights, this blended cuvée exudes a delicious aroma of ripe red fruits and cranberries, enhanced by spicy notes. The palate is aromatic, delicious, and crisp, with a lovely body that coats the palate with notes of strawberries, pepper, and a hint of herbs. The tannins are present but rounded, and the finish is generous and fruity. A joyful, juicy and easy-drinking wine.

About the estate:
Located on the outskirts of Ajaccio, this estate was established before the Revolution by distant ancestors of the current owners. It was acquired in 1965 and restored by Louis de Poix, promoter of the appellation. Following the untimely death of Guy de Poix in 2011, his son has continued to uphold the reputation of this vineyard, one of the largest in the appellation with 55 hectares.

About the estate:
Guy de Poix's children, Charlotte and Amaury, maintain this estate near Ajaccio, the largest in the appellation. Their reputation has been built on the Cardinal cuvée, which expresses the classicism of Sciaccarellu and ages gracefully. The entire range is highly recommended. Replanting, modernizing the winery, and facing climate challenges—there is no shortage of projects. The 2023 wines are certified organic.
