Domaine Comte Peraldi
Situated on the hills of Mezzavia, overlooking the Gulf of Ajaccio, Domaine Comte Peraldi has long been one of the jewels in the crown of Corsican viticulture. Abandoned in 1905 on the death of Jean Peraldi, the estate was restored in 1965 by Louis, Comte de Poix, his grandson. Anxious to produce quality wines, he worked alongside fellow winegrowers to gain recognition for the Ajaccio AOC, which was obtained in 1971. In 1988, Louis' son Guy continued the adventure.

Today, the third generation is at the head of Domaine Comte Peraldi. Charlotte and Amaury share their father's and grandfather's philosophy of quality. As a result, they have been converting to organic farming since 2019, with certification obtained in 2022.

Domaine Comte Peraldi owns and cultivates 50 hectares of hillside vineyards on an exceptional terroir: granite soil, Mediterranean climate, exceptional sunshine and protection from frequent winds and breezes by the surrounding mountains. The estate grows typical Corsican grape varieties alongside other Mediterranean varieties.
