"A straightforward, vibrant, fresh, and aromatic blend"

A very attractive rosé blend of Sciaccarello from saignée and Nielluccio and Cinsault from press, offering a light, luminous salmon color with silvery highlights. Its nose is intense and fresh with aromas of red berries, citrus fruits, white flowers, eucalyptus, and spices. A slight hint of iodine can be detected after aeration. The attack is fresh and invigorating, evolving into a full-bodied, rich, lively and tangy palate with notes of citrus, candy and sweet spices. Very good length and aromatic persistence.

About the estate:

Located on the outskirts of Ajaccio, this estate was established before the Revolution by distant ancestors of the current owners. It was acquired in 1965 and restored by Louis de Poix, promoter of the appellation. Following the untimely death of Guy de Poix in 2011, his son has continued to uphold the reputation of this vineyard, one of the largest in the appellation with 55 hectares.

About the estate:

Guy de Poix's children, Charlotte and Amaury, maintain this estate near Ajaccio, the largest in the appellation. Their reputation has been built on the Cardinal cuvée, which expresses the classicism of Sciaccarellu and ages gracefully. The entire range is highly recommended. Replanting, modernizing the winery, and facing climate challenges—there is no shortage of projects. The 2023 wines are certified organic.
