A classic Catalan blend of Grenache and Xarello, Macizo reveals aromas of fennel and white fruits, complemented by a hint of spice from the aging process. On the palate, it is refined and mineral, with a complex and flavorful structure.

About the wine:
To be honest, the 2013 Macizo is very similar to the 2013 Massis, and it is also a blend of Xarello and Grenache Blanc. It has slightly more spicy and woody aromas and a bit more body on the palate. There is some oak, but it’s not overpowering. This wine will age better.
