"With a more mature and expressive style, La Vina de Andres Romeo is a wine made from Tempranillo grapes grown in the vineyard that Andres, Benjamin Romeo’s father, planted 40 years ago. [...] Here, the quality of the fruit stands out against the oak, and the aromas come primarily from the grapes, with fragrant floral notes and a juicy palate featuring very fine tannins, in a Burgundian style.” (Wine Advocate 2015 - Robert Parker)

About the wine:
With a more mature and expressive style, La Vina de Andres Romeo is a wine made from Tempranillo grapes grown in the vineyard that Andres, Benjamin Romeo’s father, planted 40 years ago. The wine is fermented in a single 10,000-liter wooden vat, without the addition of yeast, and undergoes malolactic fermentation in barrels, followed by 19 months of aging in new French oak barrels. Here, the quality of the fruit shines through, standing up to the oak, and the aromas come primarily from the grapes, with fragrant floral notes and a juicy palate featuring very fine tannins, in a Burgundian style.
