This wine is truly elegant and balanced, with the more serious profile typical of the reds from this vintage, all of which offer excellent value for money. Robert Parker - Wine Advocate
Wine rated (2026 guide) 94/100 (Outstanding wine)
About the wine:
La Casilla 2024 benefited from precise harvest timing due to low yields, allowing the grapes to be picked at optimal ripeness. It exhibits great finesse and freshness, restrained ripeness, and an alcohol content of 12.5%, with a pH of 3.58 and acidity of 5.8 grams. The grapes, sourced from 60% limestone soils, 20% clay-limestone soils, and 20% stony soils, were fermented using 100% whole clusters and indigenous yeasts in 4,500-liter oak vats, where the wine aged for nine months. This wine is truly elegant and balanced, with the more serious profile of the vintage’s reds, all of which offer excellent value for money. It is subtle and nuanced, floral and fragrant, yet more understated than flamboyant, with notes of red cherries, excellent freshness, and refined tannins, giving it a lovely finesse. 12,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2025. 2026–2031

Wine rated (2025 guide) 92/100
About the wine:
Pronounced aromas of wild blackberries and red cherries, with herbaceous and floral notes, revealing hints of geranium and white pepper. Fruity but not simplistic, with robust Bobal tannins that balance the floral notes and the aromas of juicy cherries. Lively and appetizing, with a flawless finish. Made from organically grown grapes. Can be enjoyed now, but will be better in a year.
