About the wine:
Made primarily from Tempranillo, but also featuring Garnacha, Graciano, and Mazuelo, the 2016 Predicador was selected from vines over 15 years old growing on predominantly clay and limestone soils. It fermented in small oak vats without the addition of yeast and aged, including malolactic fermentation, in French oak barrels for 17 months. The 2016 vintage was a cool year, and the wines exhibit excellent balance. 70,000 bottles were produced. It was bottled in March 2018.

Wait until 2022–2023 and beyond. For now, slightly disappointing (compared to expectations): 15–15+.

I found this wine to be completely overpriced (I would have considered it fair at €8, but it’s €21), and it might be loaded with sulfites, as it left everyone terribly thirsty during the night and with a general headache the next day. In my opinion, steer clear of it.
