"The 2012 Horizonte de Exopto white is produced from white grape varieties planted in old vineyards. It is a blend of Viura, Garnacha Blanca, and Malvasia Riojana vinified together. Although young, it has the intensity of old vines and the complexity of a varied blend. Notes of fennel, white flowers, yellow peach, and a hint of saltiness make this bottle a very appealing wine. It is Spanish, yet it has a richness reminiscent of certain Burgundies with a touch of exoticism. A truly wonderful discovery, original and surprising. To be tasted and discovered.
