"I loved the nose of the 2014 Viña Bosconia Reserva, a red wine that offers incredible value for its quality; the problem is (as with all their wines) finding it.... [...] It is a blend of 80% Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha, and the remaining 5% Graciano and Mazuelo, fermented in old oak vats with their own yeasts and aged in neutral American oak barrels for no less than five years. About the wine:
I loved the nose of the 2014 Viña Bosconia Reserva, a red wine that offers incredible value for its quality; the problem is (as with all their wines) finding it.... They had to speed up the harvest to avoid botrytis caused by heavy rains during the harvest. It is a blend of 80% Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha, and the remaining 5% Graciano and Mazuelo, fermented in old oak vats with their own yeasts and aged in neutral American oak barrels for no less than five years. It is elegant and nuanced, developed yet youthful for its age, with a smooth palate and very fine tannins, offering energy and lightness. It has an alcohol content of 13.5%, a pH of 3.3, and an acidity of 6.7 grams—notable indicators of freshness. 80,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2022. 2025–2044

About the wine:
The 2014 Viña Bosconia is a blend of 80% Tempranillo, 10% Garnacha, 5% Graciano, and 5% Mazuelo from the El Bosque vineyard in Haro, La Rioja. Garnet in color, it opens with aromas of blackcurrant, cola, and oak. On the palate, it is young and smooth, with well-integrated tannins, black fruit, and a hint of aniseed on the finish. Still developing, it will gain greater complexity with more time in the bottle. 2025–2038
