Robert Parker

“Prima 2013 is a blend of Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo) and Grenache. 2013 was a cooler vintage, which resulted in slower ripening of the grapes in Toro. With a brilliant ruby color, the nose is fresher and earthier, displaying fresh vegetal aromas with notes of red fruit and minerality as it opens up, where graphite, peat, and a few other notes bring to mind a classic Bordeaux wine. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with very fine tannins and lovely acidity; it is a very elegant, balanced, fresh, and easy-to-drink wine.” (Wine Advocate 2015 – Robert Parker)
