Robert Parker

Prima 2013 is a blend of Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo) and Grenache. 2013 was a cooler vintage, which meant that the grapes in Toro took longer to ripen. Bright ruby in color, the nose is fresher and earthier, with fresh vegetal aromas and notes of red fruit and minerals as it opens up, with hints of graphite, peat, and other notes reminiscent of a classic Bordeaux wine. The palate is medium-bodied, with very fine tannins and good acidity; it is a very elegant, balanced, fresh and easy-to-drink wine." (Wine Advocate 2015 - Robert Parker)

Drunk in August 2020. Beautiful color, fruity nose, and powerful on the palate.
