Bodegas Mauro - San Roman

Bodegas Mauro is located in Tudela de Duero, a historic municipality in the province of Valladolid, in the heart of the Duero Valley. It is owned by Marciano Garcia, the emblematic winemaker of the Toro appellation.

The Bodegas Mauro vineyard covers 55 hectares, planted mainly with Tinto Fino and Syrah grapes on a very filtering, well-balanced clay-limestone terroir. The grapes are harvested by hand, and vinified naturally using indigenous yeasts. Finally, the wines are aged in French and American oak barrels.

Bodegas Mauro is the parent company, which also oversees the destiny of the Maurodos vineyards and Bodegas San Roman, the latter being masterfully managed by Eduardo Garcia, Marciano's son.
