Bodegas Mauro - San Roman

Bodegas Mauro is located in the Tudela de Duero region, a historic municipality in the province of Valladolid, in the heart of the Duero Valley. It is owned by Marciano Garcia, an iconic winemaker from the Toro appellation.

The Bodegas Mauro vineyard covers 55 hectares, mainly planted with Tinto Fino and Syrah grape varieties on a very well-drained, balanced, clay-limestone terroir. The vines are cultivated using sustainable methods, without chemicals, the grapes are harvested by hand and the wines are made naturally using indigenous yeasts. Finally, the wines are aged in French and American oak barrels.

Bodegas Mauro is the parent company, which also oversees the Maurodos and Bodegas San Roman vineyards, the latter being masterfully managed by Eduardo Garcia, Marciano's son.
