Bodegas Mauro - San Roman

Bodegas Mauro is located in the Tudela de Duero region, a historic municipality in the province of Valladolid, in the heart of the Duero Valley. It is owned by Marciano Garcia, an iconic winemaker from the Toro appellation.

The Bodegas Mauro vineyard spans 55 hectares of vines, primarily planted with Tinto Fino and Syrah grape varieties on a well-drained, balanced, clay-limestone terroir. The vineyard is managed sustainably, without chemicals; the grapes are harvested by hand, and winemaking is carried out naturally using indigenous yeasts. Finally, aging takes place in French and American oak barrels.

Bodegas Mauro is the parent company, which also oversees the Maurodos vineyards and Bodegas San Roman, the latter masterfully managed by Eduardo Garcia, Marciano’s son.
