Elio Altare - Barolo Cannubi 2015

Elio Altare - Barolo Cannubi 2015

94/100

Robert Parker

“ The first vintage of this wine was 2011. The Altare family leased a quarter-hectare of this famous vineyard, and the lease expires (or, hopefully, will be renewed) in 2024. The 2015 Barolo Cannubi is a magnificent wine with a true brilliance and luminosity that transcend the wine’s appearance, bouquet, and palate. There is a truly beautiful volume, and the wine coats the entire palate evenly and smoothly. In ascending order of intensity among the Altare Barolos, this was the second-to-last wine we tasted.” (Wine Advocate 2019 - Monica Larner)
