"In unison, the Wine Advocate and James Suckling declared this estate cuvée to be the best of all time!
"The Gianni Brunelli Le Chiuse di Sotto 2019 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is a beautifully intense and rich expression of Sangiovese. Only 3,600 bottles and a few large formats have been created. The wine is expertly crafted with hydrated tannins, bold fruit flavors and a long finish. This epic wine follows in the footsteps of the 2016 vintage, probably the best of all time in my opinion. This estate does an excellent job of combining power and elegance in perfect balance and unison. 2025-2045" (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker 2024)

About the wine:
Bright medium ruby. Intense raspberry nose with hints of mineral and exotic spices. Racy acidity and raspberry freshness with a lightness that comes as a complete surprise after the nose. Elegant, finely crushed tannins. Not yet stabilized, so a little more patience is required. 2026-2034

About the wine:
Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2019 blossoms in the glass, giving way to aromas of white smoke and sweet sage, minty black cherries and a hint of balsamic spice. It has a bittersweet feel, sweeping the palate with soft, supple textures, while ripe wild fruit swirls on a stream of bright acidity. A touch of tart citrus graces the finish. The 2019 finishes long but structured and intense, leaving a saturation of blackberries and a savory rush of herbs. This is an exceptionally refined and graceful Riserva from Gianni Brunelli. Fantastic. 2028-2038

About the wine:
Like some of the best wines, this wine is distinguished by its bright fruit and drinkability, but has enormous structure and long-term potential. On the nose, it shines with youth, showing revealing, fresh raspberries with a depth of smoky wood and licorice. The attack is full-bodied with elegant, thick and velvety tannins, structured and refined. The finish is lively, long and superbly polished despite the structure. The best ever. To drink or to keep.
