"A Chianti Supérieur of unctuousness and incredible gourmandise, a delicious novelty to drink or to keep!"

"Very fine expression of the bouquet, where intensity and subtlety go hand in hand. On the palate, the wine is markedly different from the 2015 and 2016 wines, with a beautiful evolution in the integration of tannins. The tannins are fine, giving the wine a perfect backbone. The finish is quite long and retains the fruity expression. 2023-2030" (Yves Beck 2021)

James Suckling

Wine rated (2020 guide) 92/100

About the wine:

Lots of richness for a Chianti Superiore, highlighting the warmth of the season and the growth of the vintage. Medium- to full-bodied, with moderately chewy tannins and a tangy finish. Hints of new wood on the finish. For drinking or cellaring.
