Careful selection, destemming, gentle pressing, fermentation in small temperature-controlled stainless steel vats (between 26 and 28°C) for 3 weeks, malolactic fermentation in 500-litre vats.

Breeding

For 24 months, 50% in French oak barrels (first and second fill), and 50% in Slovenian oak barrels (new).

Eye

Intense ruby red, clear and brilliant

Nose

Intense and complex, with aromas of leather and tobacco, combined with notes of ripe red fruit, chinotto and cinchona.

Mouth

Silky, full and ample, with supple and velvety tannins, flavours echoing the nose, persistent finish making the Saletta Riccardi a true expression of the estate.
