This Dolcetto d'Alba exhibits the typical characteristics of the region. It has a harmonious balance of acidity, tannins, and alcohol. Fruitiness dominates both the nose and the palate, making this a delicately indulgent wine. A Piedmontese red that’s best enjoyed while young!

Dark, almost opaque color. Subtle on the nose. You have to give the wine a little nudge—swirl it—to coax out some aromas of black fruit and prunes. More expressive on the palate, with notes of licorice and, once again, prunes. A lovely hint of bitterness emerges, followed by pronounced tannins. A serious wine—the opposite of frivolous—but here, that seriousness is a virtue!
