“Made entirely from organically grown Sangiovese, it opens with aromas of ripe red berries, cedar, and Mediterranean brush. The juicy palate offers notes of raspberry jam, red cherry, and white pepper, with fresh acidity and supple tannins. Best enjoyed through 2023.” (Wine Enthusiast 2020). Exceptional value for money!

Wine rated (2021 guide) 90/100 (An outstanding wine)
Estate rated "Recommended" (Wine producer recommended by Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate)
About the wine:
Another expression of the organic Sangiovese from Lorenzo Zonin’s dynamic Podere San Cristoforo, the 2018 Maremma Toscana Sangiovese Amaranto displays a robust and moderately concentrated profile. This wine reveals notes of black fruit and plum, with livelier hints of wild cherry and rose in the background. The tannins are a bit rougher in this wine.
