"This is an intense red—full-bodied yet beautifully balanced and refined—with velvety, firm, and caressing tannins. Ripe black plums, blueberries, chocolate, mocha, sweet spices, and dried lavender. A hint of oyster shells as well. A complex wine with character. Creamy on the finish thanks to the smooth tannins. 26% Syrah, 24% Cabernet Franc, 23% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot, 4% Sangiovese, and 2% Grenache. Made from biodynamically grown grapes. Drink from 2026. » (James Suckling 2022). Delivered in a wooden case for any order of 6 bottles of this wine (excluding Pickup Point delivery method)

Wine rated (2022 guide) 95/100 (Extraordinary wine)

Rated estate (2022 guide) Recommended (Wine producer recommended by Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate)

About the wine:

The 2019 Caiarossa is a complex blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese, Syrah, and Alicante, sourced from vineyards located on this magnificent estate in the high hills of the Tuscan coast. This organic and biodynamic wine is full-bodied and generous on the palate, yet never feels heavy or overly concentrated. The wine is balanced and fresh, with notes of black fruit, crushed stone, tobacco, and exotic spices.
