"This is an intense red, full-bodied but very well balanced and refined, with velvety, firm, and caressing tannins. Ripe black plums, blueberries, chocolate, mocha, sweet spices, and dried lavender. A few oyster shells as well. A complex wine with character. About wine:
The Caiarossa 2019 is a complex blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese, Syrah, and Alicante from vineyards located on this magnificent estate in the high hills of the Tuscan coast. This organic and biodynamic wine is full and generous on the palate, but never seems heavy or overly concentrated. The wine is balanced and fresh, with notes of black fruit, crushed stone, tobacco, and exotic spices.
