“A true gem from the Jura with exceptional aging potential!”

“The 2016 Vin Jaune is characterized by a striking smoky quality. The palate is lively, well-defined, and elegant, rather light for an Arbois Vin Jaune, even showing a certain delicacy on the mid-palate.” (Le Guide RVF 2024). Enjoy it now, when it expresses youth and exuberance, or let it age for 15 years.

About the wine:

The 2016 Vin Jaune is characterized by a distinctive smoky note. The palate is lively, well-defined, and elegant, rather light for an Arbois Vin Jaune, even showing a certain delicacy on the mid-palate.

About the estate:

This vast estate, located in the municipalities of Arbois and Pupillin, was founded by Roger Martin, a native of Burgundy, who, by planting 14 hectares of Savagnin, made it the largest vineyard in the Jura dedicated to this grape variety in the 1950s. Pierre, his son, and Vincent, his grandson, now run the estate. The estate has practiced organic viticulture since 1999 and biodynamic viticulture since 2009. Many older vintages are still available at reasonable prices.
