“A delicate blend of Savagnin and Chardonnay—delicate and full of character!”

“A distinctive yet unconventional cuvée, made from 80% Savagnin (part of which was aged under a veil) and 20% Chardonnay from the 2015 and 2016 vintages. After a little aeration, the wine develops aromas of citrus and flint, with a lovely, spicy roundness on the palate and a savory, lively finish. ” (The Bettane + Desseauve Guide)

Estate rated in the Green Guide

About the estate:

This vast estate, located in the municipalities of Arbois and Pupillin, was founded by Roger Martin, a native of Burgundy, who, by planting 14 hectares of Savagnin, made it the largest vineyard in the Jura dedicated to this grape variety in the 1950s. Pierre, his son, and Vincent, his grandson, now run the estate. The estate has practiced organic viticulture since 1999 and biodynamic viticulture since 2009. Many older vintages are still available at reasonable prices.
