About wine:

While the 2023 Chardonnay lacks a little concentration, this is not the case with the 2022 Fonteneille, which is generously fruity without being soft.

About the estate:

This vast estate located in the municipalities of Arbois and Pupillin was founded by Roger Martin from Burgundy, who planted 14 hectares of Savagnin grapes, making it the largest vineyard in the Jura dedicated to this grape variety in the 1950s. Pierre, his son, and Vincent, his grandson, are now in charge of the estate. The estate has been practicing organic viticulture since 1999 and biodynamic viticulture since 2009. Many older vintages are still available at reasonable prices.
