“This Savagnin velouté has been aged for 60 months!”

“This style is further explored in the generous 2018 vintage, which was aged for 60 months; it is very velvety, concentrated, and rich in notes of dried fruit that linger through the finish.” (Le Guide de la RVF 2025)

About the wine:

We explore this style further with the generous 2018 vintage, which was aged for 60 months; it is very velvety and concentrated, with abundant notes of dried fruit that linger through the finish.

About the estate:

This vast estate, located in the municipalities of Arbois and Pupillin, was founded by Roger Martin, a native of Burgundy, who, by planting 14 hectares of Savagnin, made it the largest vineyard in the Jura dedicated to this grape variety in the 1950s. Pierre, his son, and Vincent, his grandson, now run the estate. The estate has practiced organic viticulture since 1999 and biodynamic viticulture since 2009. Many older vintages are still available at reasonable prices.
