Qvinteszencia de L'Ille is a naturally sweet wine made from botrytized Ugni Blanc grapes, harvested berry by berry during the first sorting on December 20, 2000. Fermented and aged for 76 months in new oak barrels, this is a wine of exceptional richness—anachronistic and timeless. An incredible, extraordinary sweet wine, one of a kind in France!

All in all, it offers great value for the price, especially when you consider what other sweet wines are like out there—and yet I'm a big fan of Ravanès!

Incredible! Beyond the technical feat involved in crafting this sweet wine, it’s the intensity of its aromas that surprises. It surpasses many of the aged Sauternes or Tokays I’ve tasted in terms of complexity—and that’s with a grape variety unusual for this type of wine. It’s a discovery. Better yet—a revelation!

A very good sweet wine. It feels like you're drinking liquid jam.
