This "curiosity" wine, made exclusively from very ripe Petit Verdot grapes, has not been aged in wood. Rich and full-bodied, it reveals notes of very ripe red and black berries, mingled with subtle hints of humus and hints of violet-flavored licorice (Zan bleu). It can of course be drunk now, but it will undoubtedly delight patient wine lovers for several years to come.

Review and opinion by Mr. DIDIER P. Published on 06/17/2017

Pure Petit Verdot, this is the first time I have had the chance to taste this wine, which is often used as a component in many great Bordeaux wines, on its own! Black in color with beautiful brilliance. Nose of blueberry with a touch of aniline. Very nice, full-bodied palate with blueberry, good length and non-aggressive tannins. After the attack, there is a certain vegetal bitterness that is not unpleasant. Conclusion: a beautiful southern wine with 14.5% alcohol that remains fresh and stands out for its balance and lovely fullness. An excellently crafted wine with a wide range of uses. Drink at 16°C.
