3*Coup de Coeur
Hachette
“A model of harmony and a magnificent expression of the vintage”
“An incredible charm that earned this vintage the highest rating. The deep color is striking, as is the nose, which unreservedly exudes rich aromas of mocha and black fruits with a hint of mint. Sensual and silky, driven by great freshness and supported by refined tannins, the palate drives the point home with mouth-watering fruit. A model of harmony and a magnificent expression of the vineyard.” (Le Guide Hachette 2024).

About the wine:
Its incredible charm earned this vintage the highest rating. The deep color is impressive, as is the nose, which unreservedly exudes rich aromas of mocha and dark fruits with a hint of mint. Sensual and silky, driven by great freshness and supported by finely chiseled tannins, the palate drives the point home with mouth-watering fruit. A model of harmony and a magnificent expression of the vintage.
About the estate:
Well known for his Château Ollieux Romanis, Pierre Bories acquired Champ des Murailles in 2012, a Corbières-Boutenac estate founded by François des Ligneris, former owner of Château Soutard, a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé. Covering some 10 hectares on the western slope of the Pinada massif, this vineyard is characterized by a cooler microclimate than Ch. Ollieux Romanis.
