About the wine:

A delicately fruity and floral nose; on the palate, it is supple, smooth, and very aromatic, with fine tannins and a refreshing quality. Elegant and well-balanced.

About the estate:

Acquired by the Sichel family nearly 20 years ago, Château Trillol is beautifully situated in the foothills of the Pyrenees, at an elevation of 400 meters, very close to Cucugnan. Its 40 hectares are planted with Syrah, Grenache, and Carignan—grape varieties that express themselves wonderfully on this beautiful terroir. The vineyard’s high elevation helps preserve great aromatic complexity and a lovely freshness.

Deep, violet color. An elegant, heady nose with notes of stone fruit, garrigue, and black olives. On the palate, it is inviting and warm, with hints of spices and sun-kissed fruit. Best enjoyed with roasted or braised game. A real success.
