About the wine:

Rich and appealing, with very ripe fruit, woody notes, and hints of garrigue, and a good balance provided by a fresh finish. Good aging potential.

About the estate:

Acquired by the Sichel family nearly 20 years ago, Château Trillol is beautifully situated in the foothills of the Pyrenees, at an elevation of 400 meters, very close to Cucugnan. Its 40 hectares are planted with Syrah, Grenache, and Carignan—grape varieties that express themselves wonderfully on this beautiful terroir. The vineyard’s high elevation helps preserve great aromatic complexity and a lovely freshness.
