About the estate:

Estelle, Pierre, and their sons Antoine and Martin are continuing the family tradition started by Jean Clavel. Their 30-hectare vineyard (certified organic with a biodynamic approach) covers three terroirs: Pic Saint-Loup, Grés de Montpellier, and La Méjanelle. A benchmark in Languedoc wine production. The nails depicted on the labels are a reminder that the Clavels used to manufacture them before devoting themselves entirely to viticulture.

Very astringent; bitter tannins. Very poor value for money. Impossible to enjoy this wine. It's a shame not to have the advice to wait for a wine. (If this one is worth waiting for???) All the wines on offer are to be drunk "from today." That means nothing and is not a matter of taste. Some wines can be enjoyed young, others cannot. This is the case with this wine, which is undrinkable.
