“Tannic and structured, yet balanced and easy to drink. This cuvée charms with its fruity expression (a blend of 60% Syrah and 40% Grenache) and notes of macerated strawberries. The palate is aromatic with a lovely finish—truly captivating. You’ll enjoy it right through next summer. ” (The 2016 Guide to Wine Bargains - Gerbelle & Maurange)

Wine rated (2016 guide) 14,5/20 (Good wine)
Rated 2 stars (A solid, recommendable production, though slightly more conventional and uniform than the previous one)
About the wine:
Well-balanced tannins, lovely notes of garrigue and sage, easy to drink, refined.
About the estate:
Jean-Philippe Granier provides technical guidance to all the winemakers in the Languedoc appellations. The family-owned estate, located in the Sommières area, offers wines that are perfectly clean and impeccably crafted, ranging from IGP to Languedoc: it is by the quality of its entry-level wines that one recognizes a good estate. Among the reds, Clémence is intense in flavor, Jéricho has a bold character and displays perfectly controlled tannins, and Camp-de-l’Oste is a model for the region. Here, there is a clear pursuit of the taste and flavors that every wine from the region should express. A very reliable choice, especially since, in addition to the reds, the whites are just as consistent and the Parenthèse rosé is consistently exceptional.
