Mas Lou Estate
The Mas Lou is run by two wine enthusiasts, Adèle Arnaud and Olivier Gil, who met in school and both hold the national diploma in oenology. After traveling throughout France to work with renowned winemakers, they settled in the Haut-Languedoc region in 2014, in the Faugères and Côtes de Thongue appellations.

Mas Lou’s 8 hectares of old vines are located in Fos, at the foot of the Cévennes, planted on schist-rich slopes that lend the Faugères wines their distinctive character. Cultivated according to organic farming principles and currently in conversion, the Mas Lou vineyard is predominantly planted with Syrah and old Carignan, supplemented by Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, and Lledoner Pellut in smaller proportions.

With a "handcrafted" winemaking process guided by a philosophy of minimal intervention, these two passionate winemakers strive to capture in their wines the true essence of the Faugères appellation’s terroirs and each vintage. A producer from the younger generation in Languedoc to watch closely.
