"Signature of the estate, rarely has a Fitou achieved such finesse and freshness."

"A well-balanced and harmonious Fitou with aromas of black cherry, currant, dried leaves, Mediterranean herbs, and wet stones. It is medium-bodied with fine, firm tannins. It is well-made and flavorful with a peppery finish. Made from biodynamically grown grapes. Drink now or cellar." (James Suckling 2024). A convivial cuvée par excellence!

Rated estate (2026 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good-quality wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About wine:

Ze Fitou showcases the appellation, without any rusticity, just elegance.

About the estate:

Former restaurateurs in Alsace, Pierre and Mireille Mann gave in to their irrepressible desire to become winegrowers, settling in 2005 in the maritime sector of the Fitou appellation. After three years in a cooperative cellar, during which time they converted the vineyard to organic farming, they began production at Mas des Caprices in 2009. The vineyard is located on the Leucate plateau, on the edge of cliffs overlooking the sea, in a magnificent and unspoiled environment. Harmoniously blending easy-drinking wines with more ambitious ones, the wines give pride of place to local grape varieties (Carignan and Grenache Gris), combining maturity and freshness of fruit. This is a particularly consistent range, where freedom of expression is combined with precision of flavor.
