Petit Verdot
potential

“Out of the ordinary!”

Made exclusively from a blend of , and Petit Verdot, and aged for 30 months in oak barrels without fining or filtration, this wine is produced in very limited quantities and only in exceptional vintages conducive to the creation of an outstanding cuvée. This 2007 vintage is of the same caliber as the legendary 1999 and 1997 vintages, with added power and an aging potential that will surely exceed 20 years. A wine of great class.

A truly wonderful expression of Petit Verdot from Languedoc—I thoroughly enjoyed it (the bottle was 10 years old when I drank it)

One of the few opportunities to taste Petit Verdot on its own—an indispensable complement to the Bordeaux grape varieties... Simply splendid, with its full-bodied character and subtle candied notes. Unmistakably Bordeaux in style, were it not for the slightly high alcohol content, which is nonetheless not off-putting in this case. One to remember!

Les Gravières or Le Prime Verd—same story. A magnificent bottle that captures the essence of the era. A real gem that I highly recommend.

An excellent wine with a long finish and well-integrated tannins. I recently tasted the 2007 vintage, and it still has a surprising freshness.

Disappointed with the value for money, maybe I didn't wait long enough between shipping and tasting it—three weeks— we'll see how it goes over time.... YVES84
