Located in an environment that promotes biodiversity, these Vermentino vines grow on limestone and clay soils and are bathed in sunshine between the scrubland and the Mediterranean. The palate is full-bodied and floral, with notes of hawthorn and lime blossom, both round and refreshing.

Guide Hachette des vins
Rated estate (2019 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)
About the estate:
Born into an illustrious British family—his father, Anthony Eden, was a minister under Winston Churchill before succeeding him as Prime Minister—Robert Eden, after working in numerous vineyards around the world, purchased Château Maris in Minervois in 1997. This avant-garde figure and staunch advocate of organic and biodynamic farming built a traditional lime and hemp brick cellar, equipping it with ovoid vats where the wine matures slowly.
